Therap Services, LLC was founded to improve the quality of life for people with Developmental Disabilities (DD) by providing cost-effective information, communications, and technology services tailored to the specific needs of service providers, service managers, health professionals, and regulators.
You can work with Therap using either dialup or broadband connection as long as you are using a connection that is moderately fast. Note that broadband access is not required but is recommended for efficient use of the system.

Privacy and security issues are of paramount importance to Therap, and integral to our service design. Therap Services works with providers and state agencies so that our services meet federal and state regulatory requirements and are HIPAA compliant. Privacy and security of your information on Therap Services' web site - We use the same reliable and secure access that is used for credit card transactions over the Internet. Robust protection is ensured during online storage and transmission of your information. The system is continuously monitored for any unauthorized access and unusual events.

Privacy and security of information access at your location - Therap Services gives each provider the ability to specify the level(s) of authorization of each staff member so that he or she has access to only the appropriate information and functions.
Our applications are developed, maintained, upgraded, and hosted on our secure servers. You do not have to use a particular type of computer. You do not have to buy, install, maintain, upgrade, or use any special software or hardware. Once you have contracted with us for our services, you do not need to purchase anything else.
Our products and services are divided into three parts – Individual Support, Staff Support and Billing Support applications.
The Individual Support application consists of different modules that make it faster and easier to manage and follow-up on a wide variety of information such as health, behavior and individual service plans.
Therap's Individual Support application includes: General Event Reports (GER), Individual Service Plans (ISP), ISP Template Library, Individual & Emergency Data Form (IDF/EDF), Behavior Tracking, Secure Communications (SComm), T-Log, T-Notes, Witness Report, Health Tracking, Management Summaries, Supported Employment Tracking.
Therap's Staff Support application provides tools that facilitate the monitoring and management of information regarding staff training and certification and includes: Training Management System (TMS), Staff Scheduling and Therap Calendar.
Therap's Billing Support application has been designed to help providers track services given to individuals and the amount that is to be billed for each service and includes: Service Authorizations, Attendance, and Electronic Billing.

We are continually working in partnership with our users to understand their needs to improve and design new products, services, modules, and features. In addition to our Individual Support, Staff Support and Billing Support modules, we hope to offer new modules in future.

Therap offers continuous training and support to its users in diverse ways. Therap provides free training classes on each of the modules. These interactive classes, more widely known as webinars, are conducted via the latest web and telephone based technologies. They are offered free to existing and potential Therap users.
We also provide support materials through User Guides and FAQs. The User Guides contain comprehensive descriptions on the use and features of our applications. You can get quick answers to common problems in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section.
We host online and regional Events where users can discuss our modules, share experiences and learn more about the system.
We have also developed various animated walkabouts and tutorials to train our users in an interactive way.

As Therap Services, LLC is a web-based service bureau, we can deliver our products and services anywhere, to any provider having access to a computer and Internet. We are currently working with the National Forum of Organizations Working with the Disabled (NFOWD) in Bangladesh to help build a national database for the people with disabilities in Bangladesh and are in discussion with other providers there as well.
We are also affiliated with the National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) and Therap is currently being used by the NFDN head office in Kathmandu. We are also looking to introduce our application to their local DD community to improve national awareness and practices by offering our services.
