A Founder and the Chief Software Architect of Therap, Drew Turock has extensive experience as chief software architect and developer of a variety of large-scale, highly reliable, and secure software systems, especially in the areas of internet-based systems and telecommunications.

Drew earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and his M.S in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. His career began at Western Electric, owned by AT&T, and Bell Communications Research.

Drew has worked with other Therap core members in several successful ventures. He developed an international callback product for Rock Enterprises, which was sold in 1997 to IDT Corporation, a public company. As Chief Software Architect, he developed a unified messaging/single number service product and least cost routing capabilities for Call Sciences. At InterExchange, which was also sold to IDT in 1998, he developed a prepaid phone card product that processed tens of millions of telephone debit cards through its network, as well as billions of minutes of long distance calls.
